The weather threatened rain, and it did rain the night before, but many brave souls arrived at the Fieldhouse to set out in search of plugged drains, ditches and culverts. Nearly a ton of debris was collected to be recycled and the effort was a big success. Notes and expressions of thanks have been coming in. We are much better off because of the labor. Neighbors in the Community are encouraged to stay vigilent about vegetation that blocks traffic visibility and to keep after loose debris that washes into drains that are needed to prevent flooding.
